The elasticated glove box content retainer was detached at one end when I bought the car, no problem I thought easily fixed. However, I've now looked closely and it would appear that the dash has to be removed to access the area at which the elastic is retained. Has anyone removed the dash and if so what are the required steps?

I have had a cursory look and can only find 2 screws, one at either end of the dash, these surely can't hold the whole assembly in.
