MPs and benefit claimants are set to receive bumper payments this week to ease cost-of-living pressures, according to the Daily Mail. MPs will receive £3,300 as part of a pay rise and benefit claimants will see their payments rise by 6.2%.

The paper calls it a "betrayal of the strivers".

Apparently this takes MP's daily attendance allowance to £390 tax free including the House of Dozy bastards - oh and of course the instigator Rachel from accounts and Stier Karmer.

Richard I think the 390 is only for the House of Lords.
I fully agree this is not a great idea. My wife gets to apy tax on her pension this year & we don't see the point of working if you can live so well off the state

What a great government we have the Robin Hoods of the 21st century.

I will write to Rachel from accounts to see if she can supply me with the addresses of the poor low lifes that we support so that we can go straight to them and give them our hard earned cash.

This also has the advantage of leaving them with the shirt off our backs if they want it.
