I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet but hope someone in the wider TM community benefited from these results; although, in all honesty, it does seem surprising that they were sold at the prices they were and it makes me wonder how much advice was taken, prior to auction, as to where the price should be.

https://cars.bonhams.com/auction/31854/goodwood-members-meeting/?query=morgan

(all prices include buyers premium)

1935 Morgan Super Sports - £20,700 - Reg FDD 460
1966 Morgan +4+ (Plus Four Plus) coupe (with extra engine) - £14,750 - Reg KBF 267D
1966 Morgan +4+ (Plus Four Plus) coupe (project) - £6,916 - Reg BUY 280B
1970 Morgan +8 (Plus 8 Moss Box) - £16,100 - Reg UOU 208H
1970 Morgan +8 (Plus 8 Moss Box) - £13,225 - Reg UOP 193H

Did anyone on here purchase one of these?

I look forward to an alternative view being presented..?

I bought my 4/4 four years ago when I guess prices were still pretty high. I didn't buy it as an investment but I told my wife - and believed it myself - that Morgans held their value pretty well, had done so for many years and therefore I wouldn't lose too much should I sell it later.

Perhaps if we keep it long enough it might go up again? Who knows!
