Jeremy fitted them on the 4/4 Sport I bought off him last year and sure they work well but I shall be removing them having observed where they are relative to my leg and what will happen in the event of an accident is that the stainless will slice through part of your leg. I'll take the odd bruised shin, what I actually do is stuff a duster in the open door jam above the check strap on the Plus 8 job done it stays open.
So not for me, I shall buy a length of leather and duplicate what I have in my Plus 8.
Some Morgan dealers might have a bag full of the OE straps. Worth asking?
