Pothole Self Help is required here in Devon. One sensible lady organiser has had the idea approved by the County Council. It was once said to be illegal for individuals to attempt the job but something has changed, or so it seems. The BBC Report here.

In past times our Morgan carried my good lady and I over some less than smooth roads, which was all part of the sense of adventure... Good old Mog... (-:

P.S. I am no stranger to pothole repair living along a single track road..

They were great fun in Kenya in the dry season that is.
When we came back to Europe we went to Kefalonia for a holiday.
With the kids in a hire car we went everywhere along some what we though of as good dirt roads. When talked to others they said most people wouldn't risk that. Oooops!

I bet their insurance would find a way of not paying if I damaged my car because of their bad work as well, so what is the point of using insurance as an excuse for stopping people fixing them themselves?
Just my two pence worth.

It's because they know they will be called back to fix it again, If they did it properly they would go bust in a year.
