As I've been a bit 'Harley-centric" over the last few years, the poor ZX was feeling a little neglected.....

So, dragged her out from the back of the garden and started a bit of a spruce up. Had the carbs cleaned a couple of years ago, but not had her running. Thankfully, after a bit of a fettle, managed to get her running nicely and the carbs balanced up. Bit of paint, and some new fluids.

As I have a 'bagger' for touring, I removed the rear rack and pannier racks, and fitted a single seat hump I got from Germany. Also a little bikini fairing from eBay. Just waiting for a set of clips ons, so I can drop the bars and return her to a more 'racing' stance.

Kind of modern day cafe racer - when new they were quoting 0-60 in 2.65secs and a top speed of 167mph so she's no slouch.....
