"Breaking camp in huge style" Yes this is a recovery flatbed towing a tank recovery - both show vehicles and 40 tonne tank capability, if he has a problem enroute (from Brum) with the prime mover he just swaps them out to become the towed vehicle. The onsite living accommodation is the third ganged towed vehicle containing his ex SAS Honda big 4 and the luxury fitted out unit. His wife has her own Army low loader that she shows and their children go everywhere with them.
He swapped out the petrol engine for an ex Army Diesel on the loaded unit, a beautiful job he made of it too. The grey T5 is what they bring down to get around in as they take a 10 day holiday down here every year. He is bringing next year on the low loader an ex RNLI Dozer, so watch this space a year on.

The prime mover was his second vehicle he bought at 19 years of age and you'll go a long way to meet such a personable enthusiast, my Son and I listened and watched him as he took the time to walk us around his heavy units explaining all about them and the work he had done on them etc.. I would guess he is around 35 so young into and preserving important history, he is an HGV driver so towing three articulated (not rigid) trains of kit is easy to him guru

An Imp in drag - my Son liked the look of the Clan Crusader

Sawing always a favourite with us.

This huge double hander was of significance to Joe as Saturday he spent 5Ltrs and half a day cutting old wood from the hedges on their two acre organic plot cutting the logs for the coming season.

We both loved this modified Seven - still in progress and still with dynamo - which was a new one for Joe.

4 X 50 Calibre synced trouble on here, had massive appeal to us both...

Finally Mum asked that after last years dust and soot show that we wore masks - so we complied for the photo on the exit gate having smeared some used oil off one of Reeves engines... Turns out he is the Show Chairman and will give us a ride on a machine with him next year round the ring.
