My first car was model year 1973. It had rack and pinion steering and an engine without a timing chain or timing belt. It had an oil cooler, oil spray cooling under the pistons, but it had no head gaskets and the ignition system had no distributor. The gearbox of this modelhas later been used by a British Sports Car brand. The front suspension had adjustable dampers, nad was fitted with tuned mass dampers. This technology was later used by Renault on its 2005 F1 car at the 2005 Brazilian Grand Prix. This feature cut lap times by 0.3 seconds. Two weeks later FIA deemed the mass damper illegal.
