This weekend, the president of the german MSCCD (Dr. Stefan Scieszka, the man behind the project) and me have been in Malvern to collect the first Plus 4 Baby Doll VI.
The car is a continuation of Lew Spencer`s famous cars, called Baby Doll, he raced in the USA many years ago. Power comes from a highly tuned 2 Liter Duratec/Omex engine (Ford version without variable camshafts) with a power output around 255bhp. at more than 8.000 rpm. There will be a limited exclusive series of 10 cars.
Unfortunately the car had to stay with Richard Thorne who is involved in the project for necessary adaptions of the drivers position.
The car will be the first time on a race track in Anneau du Rhin, the 15th of October 2012, for the last event of the Lew Spencer Cup.
Baby Doll VI sounds fantastic and the performance on the road is breathtaking as Richard Thorne, who did the first test drives, said.

I´m a little  No, to be honest.. a LOT!  WHAT a stunner!!!  Must be a WHOLE lot of fun to drive, dear Stefan  @ Guenter: any decisions made yet??

I'm not sure visiting this site is good for my well being... Far too much temptation and most of way beyond my somewhat shallow pockets on the retirement fixed income. Nonetheless, I can dream of the day Ernie picks out the right number and I can go racing again in something as beautiful as this  I'd have to work on the power to weight ratio though by loosing more than just a few pounds! Very, very nice

Guenter,
it was great to spend the afternoon taking pictures with yourself and Stefan. Certainly not what I expected my afternoon of work to consist of, perks of the job and all.
It is no surprise to see your pictures have turned out well.
