Looks like Brighton to me, although when I went there for the London to Brighton Classic Car Run in June 2011 it was raining rather heavily, so slightly better weather for you Steve!

Not UK? It's sunny!  ....seriously Southend? That would be my guess too. We were there a couple of years ago and saw a Ferrari gunning it along the seafront road. A little while later two fire engines went roaring past and when we got just beyond the pier there was the Ferrari with a lamp-post buried in the front - right up to the dashboard! OOPS!

Changed my mind. On closer inspection it's Madeira Drive in Brighton.

Silly s*d should have bought an Aero - he wouldn't have needed the lampost to emulate the nose effect then...

I was there looking after a Roadster that did quite well. Only one Morgan turned up this year. I have been attending most of the events since 1976 when we had dragsters. It was a good event which unfortunately ended with the death of a lady sidecar passenger and the rider seriously injured and still in hospital. The sidecar outfit went through the finish line and lost control in excess of 100mph and crashed into a barrier. Very sad. David.
