Wood or leather steering wheel?
A few weeks ago we swapped over our walnut steering wheel, which was fitted temporarily until our leather steering wheel arrived from the UK. I liked the look of the walnut wheel but think the stone leather trimmed wheel really looks the business. I prefer the thicker leather rim as its more comfortable on longer drives. Thought I would post before and after photos for an informal poll - wood or leather, what's your preference (for a steering wheel)?

I like the look of a wooden wheel and have one but would prefer a thicker leather one. Seeing your photos you have me thinking now!

Thicker leather trimmed option is the one for me, and looks better also.
My wooden rivetted wheel was too "skinny", so changed it.

I have a leather rimmed wheel. More comfortable.
If I had a choice I would choose leather over wood, but it would have to look in keeping with the rest of the interior.

My Aero has Connolly Stone piped in green, however the steering wheel was a 13' black leather Moto Lita with holes. I had seen many photo's of leather colour coded wheels and thought that they looked a lot more luxurious and bespoke so I sourced the correct leather and Moto Lita made me a 14' with holes in the stone.
It looks absolutely fantastic, feels nice and the size makes a real difference too!
Not many Trad owners go with the colour coded wheel but I saw one yesterday and it looked great, your car looks fantastic and I love that blue. Is it Audi sprint blue?

Wood.....thin and riveted for me! I've bought a leather rimmed MotoLita for my MGB......tried it on the Morgan and went straight back to the wood!

Difficult choice as both look good, however having just fitted a walnut one to my Mog I would opt for that. Rather than the riveted wheel I have gone for the solid wood, which is slightly thicker and more comfortable IMO.
Do you still have both? Couldn't you swap them over every so often and get the best of both worlds?
