I shall be buying one of these I think.
The Super Sport was a nod to the track but this is the real mc coy.
An epic Morgan.

According to MMC the colour is Kingfisher Blue. There is an optional colour called Westminster Green. I prefer the blue.

Interesting spec. I find the styling of the new dash interesting with the angled centre panel.....AND they have realised the speedo should be a bit closer to the driver! I see that the "older" windscreen supports are being used and with a "Quick release" version as an option. I wonder how that one works. It will be interesting to see if that type is interchangeable with the standard stainless screen support on my 4/4 Sport! Finally.......NO warranty on the engine! I might have been a little teasing about the name in a previous post....but I do rather like this! And...P.S........ the wing mounted side lights have returned!

Nice blue - what's the colour called? Baby doll blue maybe? Kingfisher Blue was a colour used by Morgan around the 60's. There's a 4/4 on ebay in Kingfisher blue http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Morgan-4-4-/290794101361?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item43b4adda71Miss October on the MSCC calendar is a 1966 +4 in Kingfisher blue. I think I'd heard that the Baby Doll V car was also Kingfisher blue. Malcolm

That blue was very much on our short list of colours for a while. I think might have prefered it. It looks good with a beige leather and hood but we decided darker leather and hood would be more practical. I don't think I like the dash layout. Lack of space is always going to make layout decisions difficult on a Morgan. Current trends seem to be linking the instruments and ECU in such a way that in the future Morgan may be compelled to accept instruments that were designed for the car the ECU was designed for. Eg in the case of the Roadster the Ford Mustang. This will limit the possibility of customised dash panels.

Just noticed, now that you mention the dash styling Peter.....the dash on this one is very different to the one on the MMC website.

The pics above, shot by Günter, show a more or less standard Plus4SS dashboard. In the meantime they designed the dash board shown on the MMC site which I like very much. It keeps even more of the early sixties spirit.
