New Aero Coupe - Pickup

I got it yesterday from Ledgerwoods. Had a good drive. Gone into temporary hibernation through the cold spell.

Congratulations - she's beautiful.

I know this moment must feel like the end of a frustratingly long wait. Can I humbly offer up one piece of advice.

Today - as an owner - you start a new and different relationship with your dealer and with Malvern factory. Part of the charm of a Morgan (at all price points...) is the foibles that the factory leave in the car for the first owner to discover and fix. I hope you will find that your dealer and MMC are as accomodating and helpful as I have found - even though the factory may sometimes move in mysterious ways

Beautiful, and as has been said, you can always sit in it and pretend until the weather is kind.
Ledgerwoods looks like it is in the middle of a housing estate, the buildings must have sprung up while the Mr Ledgerwood was beavering away selling Morgans. Then one morning the Morgan playground was gone.
I wonder if the neighbours are experts on these vehicles, "Susan, there's another 4/4 across the road with overriders, no spare, and door handles, it not the same since they did away with the sidelights". "Your right John, and I see they have expanded the basic colour options, I do like that sand"

A few foibles already:

- Very stiff bonnet release catches
- Very stiff passenger door release.
- passenger side foot air vent glued shut (rectified by Mr. L).
- Very tight ignition.
- Steering lock slightly to the left.

Still minor stuff so far. Sore hand from opening bonnet to attach battery conditioner. Car will be locked up til Saturday, I think. Temperature rising above 6 degrees C then.
