Auto Europes first customer 3 wheelers!

Just arrived today are the first two customer 3 wheeler orders (I am the 3rd!) at Auto Europe in Birmingham, Michigan!

Unfortunately it is 27 F outside (-2.8 C) with snow and ice.

I must say I'm getting to like the 3 wheeler more and more with every pic I see! thumbs

Richard, or anyone else in Oz..........or in fact, anyone!!! is it going to make it downunder?.....I seem to remember something about not being able to be registered as a car, but possibly as a trike?

cheers
Neil.

Last that I heard was that sales were pending on the outcome of crash testing and that the factory was to supply one 3 wheeler for this purpose. Then there was talk of importing it as a kit to be assembled by the owner and registered that way, same as any other custom trike is in AUS.

That was months ago and I have not seen anything further on this since.

As they are homologated for use in NZ, would it not be possible to import an already registered one from there? Just an idea.
