This what the top/hood looked like on a 1936 3W. You had to be in the car to put it up.

 I don't think any of the 3W hoods looked good... Intrigued by the big Rover (P5?) behind it...

Not a good look - BUT IF it kept driver and passenger dry ? Then just just maybe!!

You had to be in the car to put it up. So it follows you had to take it down to get out of the car?? And that was in the days before remote garage doors.

Intrigued by the big Rover (P5?) behind it... Looking at that gaping hole under the bonnet, maybe the Trike was the original power unit  That Hood shouts 'BLIND SPOT'. Maybe Ok when the only hazard was the odd Horse or Penny Farthing to negotiate
