I bet Matt Humphries is shaking his head at the sight of that thing. Luggage pods aside, it just shows you that money can't buy you either style or class.
If the 'owner' had given the job to a professional automotive stylist, he would have stood a better chance of not being laughed at as he strutts his trinket on wheels down the street
(I say he because that couldn't possibly have been comissioned for a woman)

It must have cost a fair bit of money....I know it was at the factory for quite some time being worked on. Taking the money into account you think he would have commissioned some slightly narrower front wheels so that the "hub caps" did not stick out.
I agree with NM that the luggage pods are interesting from a style point of view although I wonder about rear visibility and water ingress. The chrome/stainless styling strakes are all wrong though...they just don't flow with the shape.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that it was Matt Humphries who designed the modification for this Aero SuperSports. If I am not mistaken it has been on the drawing board for some time.

Lol....I will be very suprised if Matt will put his signature on that car. He may have done the initial sketches but I very much doubt he will have seen it's development through to the end. If he did, then all I can say is that the owner has a lot of power and influence. Matt is a young designer with a future ahead of him. He is unlikely to fight too much if he see's a rich influentual Morgan customer laying down the rules. All I am saying is that I would be truly amazed if that car has been styled by Matt...far more likely by the customer. It's not so much the principle of the design. It's all in the detail and execution. It's all part of life's rich tapestry, I suppose. Gives us lots to comment on if nothing else.

It just illustrates what the highly skilled chaps and chapesses at the factory can do. Amazing. Whilst not for me I agree with the above..... +1 I'm sorry, I like it less than the first time of seeing it. Hope it doesn't go near any high kirbs

Or hub caps / discs that fitted the wheel, they shouldn't IMHO go onto the sidewall of the tyre, looks odd. Apart from that bit I think it's alright.

Another of Simon's Cruella DeVille creations? Hmmn... is that how little you think of me? I've seen it in the metal and whilst I commend the owners desire to tailor his Morgan, the end result isn't my cup of tea at all. As for Cruella, we all know she'd drive a black Aeromax with spotted interior :pumpkin:

Have you collected your new toy yet?
I'm waiting on the review and comparison with the Marfan Raodster.
