Just Getting Started
4/4 and Thruxton

Hi Richard,
so here are 2 pics...
I should add that the Morgan was sold in April.
I am Morganless these days; but I do plan to change this... innocent

Makes me wonder what John Bloor and Co. could do for Morgan.

Have them made in Thailand?

Bits of them, for sure!

Triumph has managed to maintain brand image despite moving all the steel frame and tinware work to Thailand and asembling bikes there for the $ area markets.
Why? Design, engineering and marketing is 100% British. Oh, and John Bloor doesn't have to deal with a family trust run by relatives....

To take that line with Morgan the M3W tube structure would be made in Thailand, and then sent part finished back to the UK. For $ markets engines and final assembly would be done there using ash structures from China. Probably cut the manufacturing cost by 50% making it possible to sell M3Ws in the USA at about $25,000. They would really sell....

Also all 4W chassis would be made in Thailand and sent over with engines and transmissions installed.
