I spoke with Chris Ward before the Nordkapp trip and tried to organise a Morgan watch to raise further funds for the Marfan Trust. Unfortunately, and after a few positive conversations, Chris came back and felt he was unable to assist. This was. IMHO, a shame and a missed opportunity for all parties involved.

Pity that ,I had thoughts about a Morgan edition myself as there is a link on there site saying that they will do Ltd editions of about 100. They do a Ltd edition for the CW forum each year of 100 that the forum design them selves.Picture one is the 2013 Forum C 10 LE. I Wonder what the interest would be from Members of Talk Morgan to Have a Morgan Ltd edition based on the Malvern C5 or C3..???? It could also be sold in the Morgan shop and on line and an amount from the sale of each watch could be donated to the charity instead of a dedicated watch. Is it worth testing the interest.?? cost would be about £300 to £500 depending on modal I would guess. Site link www.christopherward.co.uk

Simon excuse me if I sound rude it is not my intention . But for many months now I have had this thought in my head yes it does work at times . I am going to have a crack at the concours at Mog 2014 but no master class on , dam . I put so much time in on the mog to get it to a high standard . I have thought of putting a donation bucket with Marfan next to it for anyone wishing to take a photo . I dont want to appear greedy or rude but if the mog can be used I dont mind and the reward for me is knowing I am helping its a warm feeling inside . I did this with a fellow mog owner years ago but it was £1/- to guess the car reg date and the winner ( nearest one ) got a ride we raised a few quid at the do . In the late 80s the Stag club approached Normog, St. Clairs Hospice South Shields needed money the goverment said no ( as always ) . Within a week it had spread like wildfire every classic club and hot rod etc in the North had heard . Between us all we had hired a field at South Shields sea front for a w/end everyone arrived with tents and cars . What a w/end people flocked in and over £4000/- was handed over after the overheads sorted . We did the same the next year . Then Nobel the %(*%?@ who runs the gamboling places took over phoned and told us it would cost us each £10/- to be their and he would give a donation to charity. He was told by the lad on the phone to F!!! !!F .

Well, over 3000 members on TM so for a limited run of a hundred I reckon it could work.
Broadest appeal would be for a simple logo & you'd need M's permission. Of course, a TM logo could be used perfectly well, against a generic photo or pictogram.
Food for thought. I'm always a sucker for a good watch..

I always thought that a M3W watch with a design similar to the clocks in the dash would be good.
BTW I have two of their watches, both very well made.

Might be an idea to have a separate topic and see how many people are interested.

I'm sure loads would be, Neil. Whether or not you'll get 'em all to agree is another matter..

I'd be interested (dependent on design). We were burgled just before Christmas and lost virtually all of our jewellery including my favourite watch (a Raymond Weil with mother of pearl face) so I'm looking for replacements. I rather like the Battle of Britain and British Racing Green models (guess what colour my Mog is?). Incidentally they caught the scumbag who nicked our stuff but sadly he'd already got rid of what he'd stolen.
