May I introduce: 007 - The Black Devil

As asked by some of you chaps I finally found the time to study the science "how to upload photos on TM" (I hope it´ll work...) and show you some photos of my part of Malvern´s Finest: My "Black Devil", a 2011 MORGAN 4/4 Sport in "all black".

The concept of the car was to distill as much as possible the pure MORGAN esprit (on 4 wheelers) which means (at least to me):
- Narrow body
- As pure as possible (= no "embellishment" at all, e.g. bumpers, badge bar, luggage rack, etc., even no third reflector-"eye" on the back just like the first Sport-models ....)
- As classic looking as possible (even within the MORGAN-"canon" as a classic car in itself)
- Sporty look

Many details had to be modified to get the look I wanted (especially the one-of-a-kind dashboard that MK realised corresponding to my design/draft (with his kind advice and experience)).

I for myself am very happy with the result. love

See you in July in Shelsley Walsh for the Thrill-on-the-hill and the factory´s centenary celebration! flag

Kind regards,

George

I look forward to seeing it in the metal at Shelsley.

J, somewhere I still have a white boilersuit, doesn't fit me, but, 'tis not white "racing overall" that I suspect Morgan are hoping for... smile

I was talking to one of the Marshalls at Shelsey about the white racing overall: he told me it is a painters overall and cost about £20.

I've a pukka 50's "Farini" style white racing overalls which I intend to wear if I've got to be in a uniform. I was hoping just to have to wear a badge!

I'm intrigued with the gear knob....does that fit on with grub screws?

Looking forward to meeting up again at Shelsley Walsh...I'll be there apparently wearing a white boiler suit...or so I've been instructed!

Lovely car. Well done.

John I have a round Momo gear knob off my old +4 if you want it. It fits by 1 grub screw.
