Hope to see you there. Still deciding where to strap my plaque as I don't have bumpers. I don't fancy blocking the rad!!!! The spare wheel looks to be favourite!

Sailing from Dover on Thursday on the 07:35 ferry with another Hopmog couple. Anyone else doing that route??

Regards
Alan

We are leaving on Thursday too. Can't leave on Wednesday because swmbo in-law has her birthday.

Hope to be in Le Mans reasonably early Friday morning.

I have already packed the TM ID tags that I made for the 2013 Thrill on the Hill and then forgot to pack banghead

We plan to cross Switzerland avoiding long tunnels so it should be a good drive.

I had been hoping to make an awayday to LMC this year, but sadly I have to be back in England on the Friday as we will be burying my grandmother who died peacefully at home in her 109th year.

Those of you who are going, please cheer on my friend Peter Terrell in his 1952 XK120.

Probably one of the longest drives, Peter. Can anyone beat it at 1041 KM?

Sorry to hear that Giles - 109 though is a fantastic age. I went to my aunt's 100th birthday last month and she passed away 10 days later.

a life to be celebrated, my mother passed away in early February this year aged 98 and in her final days she stated many times that she wanted people to celebrate her life and we did. They were an extraordinary generation

condolences

+1. 109! she must have experienced so much in her life and seen massive changes. It must be so sad for you that she has gone and yet you can celebrated that she had a great innings.

I just knew you had those bumpers on Stanley for some reason Mr B! I'm going to have to revert to my luggage rack sadly.
