Aeroman's Special Project...More Photos

Here are the rest of the photos...showing the complete car. Sorry about the teasers earlier...I just couldn't resist!
I'll leave Brian to tell you more about the car once he's back from Salon Prive. But the photos tell quite a lot about the detail although whilst I peered under the car, it wasn't possible to take any photos. There did appear to be some louvres under there! I knew Brian wouldn't let we louvre counters down! I'm sure he will love to tell you more about the underpinnings.
The Rocket Red is stunning and really shows the car off well...and the scratch from the photographer's ( NOT me or Richard/Redmorgan!) stepladders is well hidden!
The interior highlights all the materials used in a traditional Morgan, with brushed alloy, leather, wood and paint and if anyone is wondering about the centre of the dash....thats an iPad you can see. Bear in mind there is no rear window!!

may you have many happy and safe miles in her. Agree entirely. Great to see the end result of a huge amount of time and an equal amount of effort come to fruition. A big congratulations to Brian and the team at MMC. Drive her in the best of health B.

Congratulations on what is a joy to see. British craftsmanship at its best and an idea seen through to completion.
There are probably many car designers today sitting there thinking "I wish I could have those ideas"
It makes you proud to know that these things can still be made.

Aeroman I salute you  As I lie dying from multiple gunshot wounds  I have to applaud what you have achieved. Whilst I may not like all of it I would like to add my congratulations to you and the team at MMC. The Jalopnik video was an eye-opener. I loved the term 'age at the point of touch': show me a Morgan that doesn't  I'm buying another lottery ticket tonight so that I can have my Roadster up-dated to something along these lines. By the way, being a Roadster, does that also make it a 4/4? No kidding that's what it says on my registration documents. Apparently it's to get around type approval. Anyway, Aeroman - a unique creation hope it gives you the pleasure you deserve

Congratulations Brian!!
What a fantastic expression of themes and influences that are very personal to you. It has literally taken me 24hrs to absorb all of the photographs and video to figure out what I like best. The interior, of course, but also the openings to the car (clamshell bonnet, swan-neck doors) and the fact that the overall stance of the car looks so right, especially from the rear 3/4s. Without wanting to detract from the uniqueness of your car, I would love to see some of these features influence the production 'Aero' (bodied) models of the future.

Among a lot of other features, I love the visible wood on the doors, could fit very well in a trad I think...

The interior is amazing.
The exterior how ever………….. perhaps you'd grow to love it!!!!
After 24 hours the exterior has grown on me. I was always of a fan of the life car after seeing it at the MOG in Cornwall years ago. I even made enquiries about the EVA as well when it was announced. Perhaps MMC will go ahead and build it now. The interior of SP1 has continued to grow on me…….. it's probably the nicest I've ever seen, on any car, from any manufacturer. If they build a convertible version I'm sure it will sell well, I'd buy one.

So whilst most of the comment today was very positive and it was one of the most photographed cars in the new car area, according to an independent observer, the SP1 has gone viral it seems and here are just a few of the motoring publication comments: Auto Express - The 10 Best Cars at Salon Prive Delighted to see that the SP1 featured at the top of the Autoexpress best 10 cars at the show.
