I'll leave Brian to tell you more about the car once he's back from Salon Prive. But the photos tell quite a lot about the detail although whilst I peered under the car, it wasn't possible to take any photos. There did appear to be some louvres under there! I knew Brian wouldn't let we louvre counters down! I'm sure he will love to tell you more about the underpinnings.

The Rocket Red is stunning and really shows the car off well...and the scratch from the photographer's ( NOT me or Richard/Redmorgan!) stepladders is well hidden!

The interior highlights all the materials used in a traditional Morgan, with brushed alloy, leather, wood and paint and if anyone is wondering about the centre of the dash....thats an iPad you can see. Bear in mind there is no rear window!!

I had the pleasure of seeing the car in the flesh yesterday and it's looks better than in the pictures.

You have to go over the car several times to pick out the details as it has so much to take in. Even then I'm still not convinced I've found them all.

Brian I hope you and M have many years of enjoyment with the new toy. Never has a car remote caused so much fun

Brian - I am still intrigued with the design of the rear suspension and your comment that it could be retro fitted to a trad chassis. Have you any idea as to how that could / would be achieved and would I still need to win the lottery to have it done??

I have no issue with this, many things in life are subjective. Glad that you like the effort though, the guys have excelled.

We did take 18 of the guys from Morgan to Salon Prive yesterday, MMC arranged a mini-bus and we had breakfast and dinner in Eton/Windsor and in between went to the show. They were so proud to hear the comments of people around the car and the mainly very positive reception that it got. There's little doubt that some of the ideas/features will be incorporated in future cars.

Lastly the insurance company do not want a tracker fitted, though they wanted one in my Roadster , though they want the garage where it is stored to be virtually bomb-proof!

Milligoon - the union badges incorporate the side repeaters
Deano - I believe a version of the SP1 rear lights have been used on the ARV6, but have not checked this fact?
Asbojohn - thanks John, good to see you both there yesterday. As you say the remote does bring out the child in most people holding it! Good job you never got hold of it!
Boshers - nice day yesterday, though three lots of scones, jam and cream was not good for the diet, was it brother?

Hi Robbie,

I'll post up some of the CAD drawings for it on a separate thread, so that our experts can discuss! I think that they want to get some more miles on the testing vehicle, and probably mine too, before it is released.

As regards pricing, there will be a large donation to the SP1 fund from every suspension sold.......




......only joking, seriously I don't know what the cost will be Robbie. I will try and get an update from the factory when I speak to them next week and also find out when it is likely to be available.
