After taking the dash off the rubber mallet is reccomended to restore sanity.

Couldn't you avoid the dash bit & just head butt the wall?

The rubber mallet was planned as a kindness to the steering wheel while trying to emote it but I felt like using it on myself many times during the process. All good fun and sorted now!

Loose cables behind my dash caused me some rattle irritation!
It must be a special option you get with a Mulberry interior!

G First time I took the wheel off I was expecting all sorts of angst, but once the securing nut had been removed it "came away in my hands" !! There was coppaslip on the splines. I suspect Aldermog has been taken to bits and put back together more often than most Mogs, thanks to its unusual 2 year life at the factory.
