A1967 Ferrari F312, V12 with mechanical fuel injection. Beautiful yes, but sadly it is the car that Lorenzo Bandini had the horrific accident in at the 1967 Monaco GP where he was trapped under his burning car, and died some three days later from his injuries.

That is a work of art and makes me realise how ugly the current aerodynamics design driven cars are. I followed racing during this era but had forgotten this one so thanks for posting. I have seen the sharknose recreations at Goodwood Revival and revel in their purity of line, there is always something a little special about a Ferrari  This one maybe is at Goodwood ?
