Have I got this wrong or is the object to hide the S&S Badge?
Thinking of John's comment, surely it would be better to be added to the inside with a Dirt Trapping fabric (as used for Vacuum Cleaner Bags) sandwiched in between?

Hi Frank, I don't really care about the S&S logo, as I don't want to fix something inside to avoid mess with the CamBelt. I think that was the best way to fit a second grid to better prevent debrits from the road and as you observed it well having the possibility to put some filtering material 'sandwiched' between for wet times if needed.
