Jenks' New Plus 8
A wet, wet day so no open top Mogging!
We drove up to Williams in the rain and returned through a monsoon.
Some photos of the transfer from Aldermog to Tarka this lunchtime. Tarka? I thought she was to be George. No, I was out voted and thanks to a tongue in cheek suggestion from Adrian Tarka she is. Tarka? Yes, she is "'Otter" (Hotter) than Aldermog and the colour is perfect.
When the weather is better some more photos with the hood down and inside the very full engine bay.

Congratulations Peter, This really seems to be a stunning car! I really enjoyed driving these, especially engine and sound-wise. How about the sound system?... Hope I'll get to see the otter soon ;-) Cheers, Vladimir

Looks lovely, and I'd like the heated seats on my Aero but won't bother as heater works well enough and car is garaged so the seats aren't as cold as they are in my daily drivers..
Bought a set of alloy protection rim thingies and found them extremely fiddly to the extent they were never fitted.
I personally find the 19" rims too jarring and prefer the 18" wheels on the Aero and Plus 8 models I've driven (S3 / S4 / Supersports and Plus 8), but Tarka looks fantastic and I really hope you love it as much as it looks like you're going to!
Looking forward to your driving impressions... what's the wind like at higher speed - seemed to me like the screen is a bit less effective at cutting out draughts than the Aeros, but I'm just a bit envious in all truth...

Are you tempted to change the whole dash and the steering wheel to a lovely wooden look?
