Mog side exhaust
I fitted my side exhausts without cutting the running boards The pipes point slightly down and are cut on an angle so as to look like they are horizontal

I think it was brands hatch morgans (Rob Wells). I had to get 4 brackets as well, they bolt to the chassis ladder and this needs to be drilled.

My 2011 Roadster is similarly fitted with side pipes. Sitting just below the running boards they work fine with no fumes "blow-back".
Dealer fitted to the car when new. Mor than three years later - quite happy.
