Bicester Heritage Day 26/4/15
We arrived early and managed a quick blast up the taxiway whilst being guiding all over the place. The organiasers only had a few dedicated car parks by marque so the Mogs we scattered all over & no one knew where to put us. Mind you most other types were scattered & the joy was seeing the eclectic mix. A great day but on the way home I got a stone chip in the windscreen top right corner!!

Great collection of photos.
Sorry to hear about the chip; can it be repaired? At least the screen is flat - should make a replacement easy and straightforward.

Er, that's a DB6, not a DB5.
What is that tilting bike/three-wheeler? I have seen photos of one of those before but cannot recall who made/makes it...

Oops maybe your right lots of AMs.
The bike thing appears to be a one off, similar in design to a Meschermit 3 wheeler.
Richard I hope it can repaired as it is the heated type

Richard I hope it can repaired as it is the heated type As per my other post the Saab one was a heated screen so you should be fine. If Gavin (  ) still works for Autoglass and it's covered on your insurance it should be an easy fix.

You have to have the whole screen assembly including the frame...unless you are lucky enough to find a dealer who has just glass in stock. The glass manufacturer will NOT supply the heated screen glass to anyone other than the factory. Been there, tried that....replacing my cracked screen after I famously mentioned it to Charles Morgan at a TM day at the factory, and he turned away from me and avoided me ever since...was an expensive do. The car went into Williams a 4/4 Comp and came out a 3.0 Roadster  It is much easier with the non heated screens as any glass supplier use to cutting flat glass will provide a screen. You still have to fit it in the frame which I understand can be quite tricky sometimes.

It's a fascinating place John...I was at a MOG mag shoot there a few weeks ago and am back on 17th May for the Bugatti Owners Club Breakfast meet.

Perhaps you are thinking of the Carver, which has a single front wheel and a tilting mechanism. The car at the Heritage Centre did not tilt, but was beautifully finished. Unfortunately I was not able to talk to the owner to find out more, but the dimensions suggested that it had a complete motorcycle rear end grafted onto the front with tandem seating. I'd love to learn more if anyone knows. It was a great day, well worth attending
