Earning 15 euros from the Germans
Just back from driving Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, unfortunately in the tin top, I bet we will see at least one Mog I say to SWMBO, no chance says her, bet you 5 euros we will see at least one say I.....what turns up, on a remote beach car park, edge of nowhere during a breakfast stop......three of the bu**ers, they literally pulled into the deserted car park behind us, you could not have staged it better, lovely chaps all from Germany, Greymog is a TM'er...15 euros buys three pints of the black stuff.....

Fantastic
Always great to see a Morgan or meet fellow Morganauts on the travels
Travelled all the way back from Staithes near Whitby right through to Croston, just West of Chorley on a glorious Sunday afternoon in the Mog yesterday
Not even the glimpse of another classic car let alone another Morgan

I think the German's appreciate Morgan's & other fine British traditions more than your average Brit does.
If you say to the average Brit that you own/drive a Morgan they'll reply;
"My great grand dad had one o' those, do they still make 'em, made of wood innit'????, wouldn't fancy driving one of those, ain't got no vorsprung durch tecnik"

Yes they really are big car fans and at one time they were taking the second largest volume of Plus 8's second only to the home market. They like the large displacement models, I belong to three German Morgan F/B groups and they really are keen and knowledgeable a nice crowd and there are a couple from the groups on TM.

These three guys and their lovely better half's were certainly charming indeed. Somewhat ironic that the only examples we saw of this iconic British marque in 9 days of driving were German owned.
