The 4/4 "Speedster"

I thought you all might be interested in a couple of quick phone shots of the first sub £30k 4/4 to come out of the factory. Sorry about the quality.

Sports body, Ambla instead of leather for all surfaces, silver painted wheels.

It generated some positive interest with a couple of guys on my tour this afternoon to the extent that one of them has gone off to talk to his wife and then contact his local dealer. He was interested in a three wheeler but once he'd seen the 4/4 he changed his mind.

Lets face it, very few SWMBO's will sanction something like this for romantic outings...........................

This is aimed at weekend blasts - alone.

Weekend blasts with the tonneau fitted and a bit more rake on the screen and it would be wonderful!

Which are an irrelevant frippary on that car..........

As is the passenger seat in most cases!

I wonder if it has rubber mats? (on the floor).

No rubber mats, just standard carpet Dave. I did suggest that rubber mats all round would be quite useful bearing in mind the waterproof Ambla.

I think that the car will be doing runs up the hill on Saturday...so you can all have a good look!

Thanks for posting Jay

Very interesting - it represents something a bit different and I really like the concept

And look we will! Is that Sport Grey? It looks lighter but might be just being in the sunshine.

It's a Morgan with a lot of minus. Why at least no leather instaed of Ambla? And no doorhandels. How difficult is it to fit a screen with wipers afterwards?
