Midwinter Flying in New Zealand
Stunning mid-winter's day here in NZ. Went for a fly from Auckland down to our Central North Island volcanic plateau and back

Great photos Philip.
My daughter and her bf are currently working at a place called the Powder Horn at Ohakune which I think isn't too far from Mt Raupehu. Our neighbours son is managing a resort on the Ohakune Mount Ruapehu area - he got the job earlier this year having worked in OZ last year, not skiing... He's ex Exeter 1st material as well and a great guy best pals with my No2 daughter from birth onwards.

Great pictures Philip and Helen - I am envious of your stunning snowscapes.
My earliest school pal is now near Aukland at Kaukapakapa having moved from Australia and formerly South Africa, he thinks he might be settled now that he has turned 64 - not holding my breath on that...
