I was tucked behind one yesterday in the Aero and it did sound nice but when I went passed him I thought the sound of the V8 through side exhausts sounded better ..... and I hope he thought that as well

The V6 has quite a snap crackle and pop.... Lovely.

I was tucked behind one yesterday in the Aero and it did sound nice but when I went passed him I thought the sound of the V8 through side exhausts sounded better ..... and I hope he thought that as well Hehe...very good  ....I'm sure it did

There was a coupe version at the factory a few weeks ago....Steve and Tim were both revving the nuts off it and it sounded glorious! I know that V8s are just wonderful but the V6 sounds very aggressive.

Yes, it's certainly an emotive sound, but i'm not convinced that the noise translates significantly to the performance credentials.
Perhaps there's someone on TM with some proper tech knowledge surrounding this Active Exhaust thing?
The paddle shift gear changes in 8 speed manual mode are quite unbelievable....just astoundingly good !
One quite nice thing about the car however, is that you can, at the flick of a switch, turn this car into a pretty soothing long distance cruiser, which in Roadster form, is really good to have on the right occasions.
