Wooden bike

Bumped into this chap and his bike a couple of weeks back in Hondarrabia, Spain - discussed the (common) merits of wooden frames and wire-wheels ...
Apparently, the frame's marine-ply but I can't remember what the forks were.
Beautifully made and electric assistance too !

Chris

That bike looks great. Did you recommend ash as a material?

Now you mention it, I'm wondering if the forks were indeed ash...(fresno).
