New DHC Badge
Not sure how many DHC owners we have here, however I have just completed the design for a new badge...the badge has not yet entered production. (And yes, before you ask, there was a DHC with a single spare in 1950. Those things are harder to draw then you might think!)

Had the hots for a DHC since I first saw one . There is a chap on TM has one looks stunning in dark blue lives a few mile from me. When you see it among a group of mogs it stands out like a pedigree stallion among pit ponies .

Tcherek, I perhaps would like one, but it would have to be number 1 like my DHC.
Cheers,

How do I get one? I love it.
My wife has a burgandy 1959 DHC. Bill Fink (your stepdad?) did some emergency road repairs to it in 1978 (when he drove a propane- powered Plus 8 from California to Virginia and back, to prove that propane was available nationwide).

"I might be interested in a badge, but it would have to be #1, like my DHC." --- MarkB
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
(For those who don't know it, Mark owns the prototype DHC.)

Thanks for the feedback. The ska reference I was surprised by, because an earlier version of this badge had a black and white checkered border. I ended up leaving it off, as I wanted a crisp, simplified design to match the minimalist black and white color palette. In any event, I have learned that a reverse version will also be produced, with DHCs swapping black for white but using the same die.
Aside to Mark B: I believe somebody as claimed the #1 badges through pre-ordering. However, if you decide you want a badge, I can insist you have one stamped with "#1 DHC" if you like. Or "CUY 503"if you prefer. All my artist copies are stamped TCH. Well, except for one, which came out wrong, as THC. Which as some may know, is the active ingredient in cannabis. Which is a completely irrelevant fact, moving on....
I'm not very competitive or talented when it comes to anything involving math or numbers, and do not enjoy the thought of haggling for a number that a customer wants to have; so the badge makers allowed me to personalize the copies of my own designs that I keep wit the aforementioned letters instead. I did fight for #61 (My stepdad's racing number) for certain badges I thought Bill would like. MacMog I hope you have not drifted off to sleep after this unquestionably riveting reply. To answer your question, you can send an e-mail to morgancarbadges@sonic.net to pre-order this badge. It will be posted on morgancarbadges.com soon enough if you are not concerned with obtaining a badge with a desirable #.
Okay, so that was a bit less succinct then I had intended.
