Snow's Back!
More sunshine in Aberdeen so had a potter up Donside to the Lecht ski area for some soup and a sausage roll - no donuts today as the car park was a bit busy and too many kids about - then across to Deeside for the run home. Weather stayed pretty good except for a bit of a snow storm on the way down towards Ballater that turned to drizzle as I descended, soon dried up though.

Brilliant, fantastic photos Calum. A real inspiration to get out there in our M3W - whatever the weather.
I also think the Nokian looks a fantastic tyre - supposed to be really good in the wet also.

Calum, how you drive uphill with this snow on the road ?
We tried a few times in Grindelwald but could manage it.

Calum, how you drive uphill with this snow on the road ?
Winter tyre on the back! To be honest there really wasn't any snow on the road but one long steep hill was covered in a ludicrously thick layer of grit which was attacked in a moderately enthusiastic fashion. There were a couple of bits where there were the remnants of snowdrifts across the road with the usual set of two wheel tracks across but the back end didn't seem to kick out anything like as hard as it used to when it hit the snow as it did with a summer tyre on.
