Is this why we don't let our young use the Morgan for their Driving Test??

We have a sign close by me on the A48.. Says drive carefully as 52 incidents in 3 yrs..

Has to be 53 now as someone has just driven into it and demolished it!

I have a LR pal at Walmore Hill on the A48 who mentions the number of idiots driving that road Steve.
In the 90's I commuted down to Cheptstow along the A48,usually on my BMW R100RT and the number of times I had to avoid other vehicles being driven in a reckless manner was quite shocking.
My IAM m/c examiner used to patrol the A48 when he was still in Traffic - on a Triumph Saint...

I did the bike one a number of years ago. Never got to the car one as I figured the bike one pretty much covered both. I do have a habit of extending forward view in a similar manner to riding a bike though.
Thoughts - relearn the latest Highway Code (something we should all do anyway, I believe it's a part of the license conditions?) and study "Roadcraft" the police manual. Join your local group, be that IAM, RoSPA etc. Well worth doing, for the satisfaction aspect more than insurance reductions &c. I really enjoyed it! smile

Ahhh I remember having to learn the Road craft book from cover to cover..
Parrot fashion...then having a 1hr advanced test after a 6 week course.
The most stressful six weeks of my life .
But a class 1 made it all worth while .

grin2 Yes, there's a bit of a difference doing a lower level (an enhanced driving test I think the IAM call it) compared to the very high level attained by Traffic Officers!
After all - the basic test/license is just the starting point...

I did the IAM course around 1996, the best thing was the test with the advanced police driver.
