At least one dealer is saying that if you want a Galvanised chassis it's an extra cost after the latest price rise and move to painted chassis' ? Is that incorrect?

At least one dealer is saying that if you want a Galvanised chassis it's an extra cost after the latest price rise and move to painted chassis' ? Is that incorrect? On our factory tour yesterday our guide indicated that a galvanised chassis was available as an option (& therefore a cost?).

There were one or two galvanised chassis around last time we were there. Once they are gone a one off galvanising, I would imagine, will be more expensive than the bulk cost was.
I'm having the painted version. I don't expect it to rot from under me in the next 20 years.........
