The 4/4 "Speedster"

I thought you all might be interested in a couple of quick phone shots of the first sub £30k 4/4 to come out of the factory. Sorry about the quality.

Sports body, Ambla instead of leather for all surfaces, silver painted wheels.

It generated some positive interest with a couple of guys on my tour this afternoon to the extent that one of them has gone off to talk to his wife and then contact his local dealer. He was interested in a three wheeler but once he'd seen the 4/4 he changed his mind.

Do you know if that's Dove Grey which I believe has now been added to the standard range of solid colours or Sports Grey?

Sport Grey. It's just the way the camera exposed.

That's a cool looking toy. I can imagine that as the holiday car - residing permanently in Mallorca or the Med somewhere as the motor to go and buy the morning papers in.

That's the life I want, not stuck in London working!

Dove grey might be an MGA colour. Try googling that.

I admired it a number of times but couldn't get past the lack of weather protection. It was nice price though, circa £30k if I remember correctly.

They all had to be recalled I think Andy as they weren't compliant with the homologation

Or something like that -someone will give us the definitive explaination
