Looks very tasty. So is that the Mustang V6? I know I'm going to regret this financially but can that be fitted to the 3l V6 Ford ST220? Yes that's the Mustang V6 as fitted to the current iteration of the Roadster. The engine is completely different to that fitted in yours, so the throttle body kit wont fit. However there is a throttle body kit available for the 3 ltr V6 I'll open a separate gallery for the 3ltr... Simon @ SiFab.co.uk

Simon @ SiFab.co.uk I was told by somebody that the 3.0 was a more responsive unit than the 3.7. What do You know about this? I have driven a 3.0 Roadster and prefer My 3.5 carbed Rover/Buick (145hp at rear wheels). Button Seattle

I don't know about responsive. I haven't driven either type back to back or recently enough to be able to make a subjective opinion.
I do know that compared to a Rover the 3.0 V6 feels lacking in torque, however it spins up much faster, and is ultimately IMO a better drive.
Shame it makes a noise like a hair dryer...

From various comments posted over time it seems that the Jaguar based 3.0 is a better resolved package than the later Escape based 3.0.
