Excellent! Thanks for sharing.
Did you find out much regarding the exact specification?

Only a few facts for the roadster: - Omex 710 Professional ECU - Rotrex C30-94 Supercharger - Increase in torque not specified - Last but not least 290 HP (Standard 204) But only available via AeroRacing! No Morgan parts, no warranty for the car or the engine!

- No Morgan parts, no warranty for the car or the engine! That very much reflects the approach they take with other models then? For example, the Aero Racing throttle body etc conversion for the 4/4 Sport. If that is fitted, ( even if by Aero racing) it invalidates the engine warranty I might be missing something here- but if, eventually, a supercharged Roadster is sold new, as a factory- avilable car with that particular set up, then for the factory to sell it without the warranty might be a bit of a turn off? I'm thinking of the Merc/AMG/ Brabus example. As I understand it, because AMG are 'in house', then an AMG Merc IS covered by the M-B warranty. Because Brabus are not, then any work they do removes the warranty. As I said, perhaps I'm misreading this and if this is the case, I'm happy to be corrected. Regards, G

heard somewhere roadster kit is £6k. not idea about 4/4 sport.
Does the lack of warranty, defeat the point as surely it would be cheaper to get it all done by Mogsport or someone.
Surely the advantage of factory fitted would be to keep the warranty.

I heard £3500 for Sport upgrade. no warranty does not mean no come back, Sales of Goods Act or similar would still apply Obviously not as comprehensive as manufactuers warranty

Yes, that's the figure they quote. See this thread: Re: 4/4 Sport - Mods (Chip, Exhaust, Options...) I take the point about 'other comebacks' but even if one accepts that ( in the case of the Sport) given the amount involved, it would be possible to go via the small claims fastrack procedure, ( complete with filing the claim via the Internet) it still isn't an ideal basis for great client relations and there is always the issue of DOES the express exclusion go against fitness for purpose etc. ( Sorry to go on- I do this stuff for a living and I know how messy it can get!) I'm not looking to kick the Factory here- anything but- and I can also appreciate that there must be a balance between economic reality and customer care. Just struck me as a bit unfortunate that's all, especially when, overall, they give an very good service which we value. G PS none of the above detracts from the fact that I love the idea of that kind of power and torque in a Roadster body!! PPS Did they say anything about the braking system- any upgrades?
