new bristol Bullet

Whats your thoughts on this? Uses BMW 4.8 V8 and carbon fibre chassis. Not very pretty - but thats just my thoughts!

Bristol can do better than that and they know they can , you only have to look at the Fighter. Its a bitza .

Just thinking a few years ago they had a special in there showroom not to indifferent that you could order, so not that much thought gone into it just a nip and a tuck here and there.

Yes I thought that too.

Bristols (the cars) have never fully appealed to me, just a bit too quirky.

Last year I sought out the Tesla stand at Goodwood because I'd heard they were radical, but other than being fast and having a self-driving (coffin) mode, they were so so dull. I rather like the new Bristol, not least because it is the opposite of Tesla, and it will certainly stand out.

I think it could lose the extra lights at the front through - reminds me of the boy racers who added rally driving lights to their Ford Escorts in the 1980s.

If it was a £16,000 kit car I'd say it's a good effort but we know Bristol can do better than this and I imagine it will be in the 80K bracket at least.

Going from what I know of Bristol prices you could probably add another £100k to that...

That makes it a pretty cynical effort then really, a shame although I've never been a particular fan of them they were always a very established car, where as this looks like somebody having a dabble IMHO.

taffy, you can't add further pictures to a post in a photo gallery I'm afraid. It's a forum anomaly.
