Has a lot to Say!
Liverpool Cars and Coffee

Great to see eight Morgans (4/4s, Plus 8, Roadster and Three Wheeler) at the Liverpool Cars and Coffee event. Some other wonderful cars of different marques (even a De Soto and a 65k mile MB SL) , good coffee and even char sui bau for breakfast instead of bacon butties. Brilliant company, fantastic cars and a rather grand location. All done for a good cause - the Lord Mayor's Charity.

Don't miss the next one on the 4th September!

The MB was superb
A beautiful Aubergine colour with some classic details - seat suspension and a tiny MB tri-point star on the chrome filler cap

I have a friend that has worked as a design engineer at many of the worlds best car makers over the years including Mercedes, BMW and VAG and he tells me that the last great Mercedes was the E-Class model that ended production in 2002

Past that model going into production in 1995 they tried to implement strict budget controls in every department for new models as BMW had done and fine tuned for years and they just couldn't do it to the point where quality collapsed

Classic drop top Mercs are very classy. They have stood the test of time very well. Look what BMW were knocking out on the 50s and 60s.

TheMB was just so gorgeous. Graham, if you PM me your email address I'll send you a pic of the Land Rover. I just can't get my head around posting the pics on here! The Landy tow truck must be the most authentic must have vehicle to have for any M3W owner! hide getcoat

DaveW would have been in his element with the colour of the Loti (is that the plural?!)

The R5 was lovely and the Delta Integrale Evo that followed is in belongs to a friend. That is like a brand new car.
