1965 Earls Court Motor Show
Met with an old school friend recently & he had a copy of the Motor magazine, the special edition for the 1965 motor show, dated w/e 23rd October. He apparently went to this as a 15 year old. Looking through it, we came across various Morgan details which after 50 years make fascinating reading which I thought others also might enjoy.

Fascinating reading!
Altho the copy style has changes over the years the selling message has remained very much the same.
I love these old archive ads etc.

Interesting that the 4/4 series V was priced at a little less than a Mini Cooper S (though the Competition model was a guinea or two more). Today's 4/4 base price is about 30% more than the base price of a new MINI Cooper.

That's exactly what I thought as well Even in 65 it seems a coach built, hand crafted car was their USP even though it was at a more cost effective price point in comparison

There appears to be a plethora of plus four super sports about. I don't think I've ever seen or heard about the plus four competition model other than in factory literature. Anyone on TM own one?
