I wish I'd bought a TIG welder years ago.
Just testing to see if I can add a photo, newish here (long time "lurker").

TIG is very easy for something like that. The problems for me, at this stage, start with very thin walled tubing (0.6mm stuff), aluminium and titanium. Teaching yourself is always fun but harder than being taught.

These will be the only shiny bits on the car, the rest looks rather shabby now.
