Well, Gambalunga's over here for a few days so Jays brought him over to Gaydon for a mooch around and some lunch..

We stumbled across the prototype of Dave W's garage whilst we were there too. Everything boxed, logged and catalogued in pukka cabinets, but no wine bottles.

Lovely afternoon out, cheers guys!

Deja vu.

I was standing in the same spot admiring those same curves only a couple of weeks ago at a Jaguar breakfast club meet.

Fantastic place. Superb collection.....Just a slight shame that the space is limited and the presentation as a whole is more like a multi-story car park than a museum or 'centre for heritage'.

Hopefully they will develop the place further in time.

I remember visiting Brown's Lane, before Jaguar discovered its heritage.

There was a display in the foyer... which included a D Type: covered in a thick layer of dust, and with a puncture.

Which at the time may have been Jaguar's existentialist poem to Quality.

Thankfully, times have changed

;-)

Hehe....Sounds like they have really moved forward quite a bit already. One can only imagine how they will present themselves in another ten years time if they continue on this course of refinement. wink
