Hi Stefan!
I saw pics of your +8 before and was wondering
about the color-code. Mine is RAL 6002 Leaf Green.
It was a pretty exciting day when I picked the car up in Unna.
You spend a lot of planning about how the car should look, but the
first 'live-encounter' really is thrilling...

I notice that you don't have the cyclops brake light that sits over the spare wheel. Is this is not required in Germany?

The 3rd braking-lgt was installed when I bought the car.
I must have lost it and will look for it.
Guess, it is taking a brake (...)
What about GB? Can you drop it after brexit? (seriously)

My third brake light is also taking a break as it is not the nicest add on to look at.
But I think concerning a newish car it is forbidden to remove it as well in Germany.
And I will not miss the third brake light for safety reasons any longer now.
Perhaps I find some bow of LED light which I could fix at the rim of the spare wheel. At least this would be a more decent solution than the cyclops brake light.

Talking about brakes and breaks; there's an automated 'pull-through' car wash
in my neighborhood.
When you reach the part, where the car gets dried, there is a sign saying in German:
NICHT BREMSEN!
...and in English:
DON'T BREAK!
