As requested by Madmax, here's a recent photo of the +4 now sporting JW Speaker LED headlights which are far superior to the standard halogens.

That was very quick ! She looks similar to a v8 at the front , quite wide footprint , and very menacing ! Looking forward to having another ride in the beastie ! Must find out about those halogens , what are they and where does one source them ?

The Lights look fine, are they the "dark" version?

An interesting comment: all the Mogs with "on wing" number plates have them on the RHS/Offside wing.

When we had an Alfa 156 the offset numberplate was in the LHS/Nearside. This was, we were told by the dealer, the only side an offset number plate can be mounted, according to EU regulations.
There are many Alfas and Subarus that have offset number plates from new, but always on the LHS.

Curious to know why MMC do it differently and even more curious to know the law in this respect. I'd like to fit an offset plate on Tarka, arranged as"

P7
APR

which would fit nicely on the wing, given the width of the Plus 8 wing!

Hi all,

The LED lights are the Chrome version, purchased and fitted by Williams. They make night time driving far more relaxing as the eyes aren't as good as they were!

I've seen that Cibie is now making an LED Mini Oscar which I might also fit onto the car...you can't have too much light!

With regards to the number plate, it did get through the MOT without any problems nor have I been stopped whilst in Europe.

Hi Steve,

I've now done about 7K in the beastie and it's loosening up nicely and the minor niggles have now been resolved. I'll give you a shout when next in the Norfolk area and hopefully we can meet up for another ride.

All the best for 2017
Roger
