Mt Taranaki New Zealand
As I cant add to an already existing Photo topic, I like this and its similarity to Mt. Fuji by +8Rich. Forget the Rig in the foreground we were just passing through. Any photoshoppers feel free to get rid of it.

Ocean Bounty (Diamond Offshore) Yes, back in 2005, we were over there looking at the Comms gear as we took the Rig back to the Browse to drill a couple of holes for the Ichthys Project. Climbed Mt Taranaki while I was there, but only to the permanent snowline. Those were the days when the knees could manage.

What an amazing sight, the rig shows how massive the mountain is. If you draw a line straight down from there and through the centre of the earth, you probably come back up at my door step!

What a great shot and a lot of similarity with Fuji with it's normal snow cap.

As I cant add to an already existing Photo topic You can actually do it using the UBBCode but it usually seems to corrupt the thumbnail database in some way. It is a bug in the forum software. I am fascinated by the fact that +8Rich seems to have been able to do it in his original posts without corrupting the database. Perhaps the bug has finally been fixed.

This is a test Peter - looks like your guess was good.

There are/were two distinct bugs affecting topics in "photo gallery" threads:
1. Not possible to embed pictures into replies using the IMG tags. Instead of the picture, just the image URL is displayed within the tags.
2. The poster of the original topic is not able to add further pictures to their post. Although the function is there, attempting to use it corrupts the database. Filetypes are capitalised (e.g ".jpg" becomes ".JPG") making both the new and original pictures inaccessible. The thumbnails also get out of synch.
As noted above, Problem 1 appears to have been fixed by the last software update.
As far as I'm aware Problem 2 still exists. We could test it but Simon might not appreciate having to sort it out!
