1960 Morgan 4/4 Series 2 Dashboard Switch Panel
It's a couple of months since my last post on my small project.
I've managed to source the appropriate switches for the switch panel. The original parts are the ignition/light switch body, the two warning lamps, the starter button and the choke cable and knob. The new switches and the inspection lamp sockets are care of eBay, the cream switch knobs care of Charlesworth and the ignition/light switch care of Melvyn Rutter.
Other but less photogenic activities have been lightening and polishing the valve gear rockers, re-making the centre and rear section of the wiring loom. I've added extra cables for a FIA spec battery cut-out as well as an electric fuel pump on the basis that it's easy to add them at this stage.
I've also made a start at welding in new metal into the full-width toolbox mounted on the bulkhead. Once completed, it will be added to the pile of parts to go for powder-coating.

That is one extensive rebuild. I'm expecting my 4/4 Series 2 rebuild to be just as involved. Graham, thanks for your kind comments.
