258TOK raced in Portugal today

This weekend we had a "Estoril Classic" event, with plenty of races (classic F1 pre and post 1966, Sports Cars, GT Cars, Formula Junior)

I went there with the M3W, with paddock access and even a few track laps for car clubs (among them a few members of the Portuguese Morgan Club).

Was pleased to see this beauty doing, and finishing, a 3 hour race this morning. This Picture was taken after the race so as you can see it looks like it's ready for another one smile

This was the event: https://www.estorilclassic.com/competicoes

Yes, both of them are listed as drivers.

You can check all about the event's results here. Their race was the "Masters 3 Hours"

Lovely cars. What a shame that Morgan did not use this form for the Plus 4 Plus.

Thanks Mario

Did they have problems during the 3 hours , they finished a lot lower in the order than I would have expected and many laps behind the leader?

I have found the answer , they spent almost 14 minutes in the pits at driver changeover time, they had been running as high as second before that.

Sorry Andy, didn't catch your question. When I arrived to the track the race was in its final stages so I didn't catch any info. I found it odd that the car was so far down the order, because its one lap pace was very good, and it was running fine when I watched, so I assumed mechanical problems/gremlins had happened prior to my arrival and had been solved.

I considered getting to talk to the guys around the car, but I guess being shy doesn't help when all you can say is "beautiful car and btw I own Morgans and love them" nerd blush

The car on your photo has one of the nicest BRG I have seen, I know, it‘s just a snapshot but I have looked at it on three different devices now, it shows a different tone of course on each different screen but nevertheless it is a very nice BRG. Does someone know the paint code or could it even be duplicated?
